Hi,

Intel is continuing its savages on Unix Market with the launch of Xeon processors. However, the interesting part is that these processors include the chips which offer cores till 10. In comparison with its previously released Xeon 7500 “Nehalem EX”processors, the new ones, Xeon E7 “Westmere EX” are extremely better in performance. They offer power-efficiency capabilities of switching off the idle processor and supporting the low-voltage memory.

Now the question is, will Intel's Xeon emerge to be triumphant in beating the Unix servers with its newly loaded weapon in the arsenal?

Cheers,
