For a while now, I have been looking for a script (that works) for a login/ register php file. SO many people have done it, and I don't see how it's so hard. Any way to get a login/register page would work. I don't care how it happens, please just tell me HOW! ... Sorry, got a little... emotional...
Most basic login/register scripts use PHP: which, typically works with a MySQLdatabase to store and retrieve user information.
I would suggest going through some of the tutorials on how to build your own php/mysql based authentication system: to get a better understanding of how it works behind the scenes. Let me Google that for you.
