I just found out about the possibility to have the server send compressed files, but I'm confused as to how I'm supposed to link a gzipped css file. I have a files name '4de42cb159110.min.css.gz' and I tried doing something like

PHP Code:
<?php
    ini_set
('display_errors',1);

error_reporting(E_ALL|E_STRICT);

    if (
substr_count($_SERVER['HTTP_ACCEPT_ENCODING'], 'gzip')) ob_start("ob_gzhandler"); else ob_start();
?>
<!DOCTYPE HTML>
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8">
<title>MVM Design</title>
<link href="[B]scripts/css/4de42cb159110.min.css.gz[/B]" rel="stylesheet"  />//   compressed file here
<script src="scripts/js/jquery 1.52.js"></script>
<script src="scripts/js/cloud-zoom.1.0.2.js"></script>
<script src="scripts/js/detectDevice.js"></script>
<script src="scripts/js/main.js"></script>
</head>
But this obviously doesn't work. I realize I'm way off, but I can't find any tutorials that explain the right way to link the file.
