    Looking for a web developer

I don't know if this is the right place to post this, but I will try anyways...

I am looking for someone to create a website for me. I already have the domain. I need a Forum-ish page, a main page, shopping cart, and I need the website to link to my inventory. I would also like to be able to add products as needed. The website in general is sort of like a mix between a blog and a web comic, can explain more if necessary.

Since I am a just starting this, and not entirely sure it will actually make any money, I am on a very low budget. I hope that we can work something out or if all else fails maybe find someone interested in helping teach me to be able to work on it myself.

    Can anyone help?

    Thanks in advance!

If you are on a VERY low budget, you will struggle to get the work done by someone else ...

Do you know a little HTML and how to create basic pages?

If so, dont worry about the complexity of the task. You can create an inventory and shopping page with paypal. You can create forums with phpbb which provides the code. With both of these, its really simple to do ...
99 little bugs in the code, 99 bugs in the code, fix one bug, compile it again ... 101 little bugs in the code

Thanks for the info, I know almost no HTML, and that info helped a lot.

My house, sitting at the computer. Duh!
SimpleMachines is a lot better than phpBB and vBulletin when it comes to forms, and it's free. Almost everything you require can be accomplished with premade software, which is great if you're on a low budget.

http://www.joomla.org/ - CMS (good for creating pages on your site)
    http://www.simplemachines.org - Forum
    http://www.oscommerce.com/ Shop

All of those have good forums for asking software specific questions.

I would just get another host...godaddy.com and get a premium account like $7 a month and you can use your own domain name...and then they have apps that they can install for you since you have no coding background....joomla oscommerce and even forum base stuff like phpbb ...when i started making sites i used these for peoples sites and it works very well and very user friendly
