    Simple HTML gallery

    Hey folks,

I new to web design/html/css but I'm working on a website and I want to have pictures on the left and descriptions on the right. I want to do something similar to this:

    http://whartonconsulting.org/about-us/

My logic was left justifying the pictures and right justifying the text but they show up on different horizontal lines, and I also noticed that their webpage was using javascript. Any help or pointers in the right direction would be much appreciated!

Well, this page specifically, uses tables for placement. This method is considered outdated, as tables are meant to be used as containers for tabular data, rather than a design element.
The proper way would be wrapping up the content sections in DIVs and managing the design via CSS. Oh, the JavaScript is irrelevant for placement in this case.
