I need help with CSS code-

Following is my xml code:

<root>
<A>12</A>
<B>34</B>
<C>56</C>
<D>78</D>
</root>

I want to use a css file and get the output as following:

1234
5678

1234 should come in one line and 5678 should come in another line...can anyone provide code for the css file to get output as mentioned.
