IE7 Absolute positioning issue
I have a website (http://www.whickhamschool.org/about-us/), all is fine is the browser tests apart from IE7 of which the sub menu does not appear.
It is originally within the main menu, but I have removed it from here via absolutely positioning it.
Apter 1 day of solidly trying to figure it out, this could be the first time IE7 has got me!
Any help is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
P.s it is a wodpress site and all I can edit is the CSS
Which menu are you talking about? What sub menu? Where is it suppose to display?
Please give a more complete and detailed description of the problem.
You can only edit the CSS? You have no access to the header.php?
Eye for Video
Hi, if you view that page in Firefox/Chrome/IE9 etc you will see an orange sub menu. This is actually contained within the main menu at the top of the page, but moved out of it via absolutely positioning it.
I have no access to the Wordpress root inc files and can only edit the CSS.
So what exactly is the problem??... I see that orange menu displayed just fine (in IE8 anyway). Are you saying that the orange menu, positioned as it is now, in left panel, does not show in IE7?
Hi, yes that's correct, it displays fine in all browsers apart from when you look at it in IE7, then it's not there at all!
