Oh please help me. I am developing a site that utilizes seo urls. The .htaccess file I use on my development server works fine, but once I moved to GoDaddy the second rewrite rule doesnt work:

Here is the .htaccess file code. It is really basic. I just can not figure out what I need to do for the second redirect to make it work correctly?

RewriteEngine on

RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f
RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-d

RewriteRule ^(.*)$ /index.php$1

# if url contains www.domain.com/account/... it should redirect to /account.php
# but it only redirects to /index.php ?

RewriteRule ^.+(/account).+$ /account.php$1
