Break This Website Down To Try And Duplicate

I have been trying to duplicate this websites format and I am not having any luck. Can anyone help me out here? By break down I am looking for how the page is able to get the information that the user types in to appear on the next page and how the data is getting pulled from yahoo and displayed on the page. Thanks

The zip code is passed in a parameter, check the URL for

?zip=40220&page=picktheater

, look into GET requests for an explanation on this. As for Yahoo, I don't see anything on the site that states he/she is using a Yahoo API, but I'd start there if you think it is. I did a quick search and it looks like the Yahoo movie API has been shut down but you should look into it more for a definitive answer.
