CSS Layout Will Not Change
I'm having issues with changing the layout of one of the pages on the website I manage. I'm trying to make the footer move down and the make the body longer so that I can add extra text, but nothing will happen. Its as if the HTML page isn't reading the CSS page, which can't be true because everything else is working.
I've already validated both sheets, so you don't have to worry about asking that. I've tested on another page and that changed just fine.
Here's a link to a copy of the page as it is with the added text:
The footer bar is going right though and the text and the black text is blended into the dark purple background.
You've set #staffbody and #stafffooter set to position:absolute which removes them both from the normal document flow. That's why they overlap each other. I'd suggest redesigning the page without position:absolute. Use the margin and other CSS settings to control their positions.
