    Question Difference between input type "button" and "submit"

    I just want to ask. What's the difference between

    HTML Code:
    <INPUT TYPE="button" VALUE="Submit">
    and

    HTML Code:
    <INPUT TYPE="submit" VALUE="Submit">
    ?

    ...and has it something to do with the form's action attribute? (i.e., <form action="">)

    Please reply as soon as possible. Thanks so much for the help.

    Submit button is used always fro the purpose of submission only and button tag is use for many purpose which you specify like - ok, cancel, etc
