    Why am i getting all the roughness around the edges of my container?

    Looks like the issue is with your container border images overlapping each other slightly.

    If your site is going to have the same size container through out. it might be better to use just one image. set to the hieght and width you want. Or use CSS to make the borders.

    Sounds good.

    Any idea why on a mobile the right side of the container seems to almost disappear?

    First thnig your background images:

    http://www.estheticianweb.com/ew/cont_bot.png
    http://www.estheticianweb.com/ew/cont_mid.png
    http://www.estheticianweb.com/ew/cont_top.png

    have 1024px width and your website containers only - width: 1006px;

    Change all containers with width: 1006px rules to 1024px

    like:
    #main_content
    .con_bot
    .con_top


    1.To have expendable website:

    You sholud cut Your both backgrounds a bit

    2.If You want have non expendable website iclude only one large background image instead those three.
