Learning Perl

Hi, I'm Solomon. I'm gonna start learning Perl soon and I was just wondering if you had any tips or things I should know. I dont know much about programming other than J/S which i know pretty fluently. Thanks.

Except for a good text editor with Perl's syntax highlighting and a comfy console, I don't think you need much else to learn Perl.

For me personally, the best learning material was the official documentation (perldoc.perl.org), followed by Perl Best Practices by Damian Conway.
