    Smile Devoping Enviroment

    I'm curious what type's of editor's, debugging software is the most widely used when creating XHTML documents. I'm mostly referring to java script. I don't mean WYSIWYG software.

    Editors: Anything with syntax highlighting.
    Debuggers: Chrome Dev tools (my preference, some people like Firebug).
    I've switched careers...
    I'm NO LONGER a scientist,
    but now a web developer...
    awesome.

    Editors: Vim on Mac and *nix. Notepad++ for "simple" open-source languages on Windows. Visual Studio for .NET.

    Debugging: Chrome.

    I've got firebug now because I you Firefox more. I'm going to give chrome a try as well.
