dynamically resize iframe height w/ external src

can this be done ?

I've now been researching for over 7 hours and although found a few things, haven;t had any luck.

this article is as close as i've got.

however this seems to have an issue if you navigate inside the iframe. - the previous page is reloaded. it seems that when the onload is fired when navigating through the iframe, that the original src is still passed to the function. i have no idea why.

help much appreciated.
