2 questions?

I´ve 2 questions:
1 I´ve to send my family an e-mail today because it still supports me with money. So, I will refer to my website (which isn ´t perfect so far!). But what about my website (www.eduardlid.net).
2 As I wrote before, I want to promote myself as a web developer by my website e. g. that I can develope a database (using PHP and MySQL). What are the next steps to take? Downloading a web server like XAMP and learning PHP and MySQL good (I know now a little about them!) and downloading PHPMyAdmin?

Please, can you answer these questions soon because my family lives in The Netherlands (I in Argentina!), in The Netherlands it´s 5 hours later!

Dear, first you should try to have a better control over Client Side Developing which includes: HTML, CSS, JavaScript etc.
Then you should try to have a control over Server Side Developing which includes PHP, MySQL etc.

At least you should know the basics! (Sounds easy but is really not so!)

If you want to learn Server Side Developing, you must have access to either a local host or a web server!

Yes, you may download XAMPP.
There are other options also!
But I love XAMPP because it is very easy to install and is available for free!

XAMPP already comes with phpMyAdmin.
So, you don't have to download and install it separately!

+1. You don't even have HTML/CSS down yet. I would still focus on that. Many people still need basic static sites and those work for that.

You´re totally right, BUT there´s here 1 computer for much people and the internet regularly fails, which makes it more complicated!
