Sum of 2 fields in a label

Hi developers,

I am trying to sum the entered prices in 2 fields so the sum will be displayed at a label.

I have already the code for the fields and the label but I dont know how I can do this in javascript, because I want a realtime calculation, so it will sum everytime you change the prices.

My code:

Code:
SO I WANT TO SHOW THE SUM("proprty_price" AND "proprty_extra_price") OF THE PRICES INTO THE "proprty_total_price_label" LABEL .

<?php _e(PRO_PRICE_TEXT); if(get_currency_sym()){ echo " (".get_currency_sym().")";}?> *
<input type="text" name="proprty_price" id="proprty_price" class="textfield" value="<?php echo esc_attr(stripslashes($proprty_price)); ?>" />

<?php _e(PRO_EXTRA_PRICE_TEXT);?> *
<input type="text" name="proprty_extra_price" id="proprty_extra_price" class="textfield" value="<?php echo esc_attr(stripslashes($proprty_extra_price)); ?>" />

<?php _e(PRO_TOTAL_PRICE_TEXT);?> *

Thank you in advance,

Basically attach even handlers to the input elements that will run a function that will add up the total and then place the total in the label.
Code:
window.onload = function()
{
if (document.getElementById('proprty_price').attachEvent)	//for IE8 and older
{
document.getElementById('proprty_price').attachEvent('onkeyup', GetTotal);
document.getElementById('proprty_extra_price').attachEvent('onkeyup', GetTotal);
}
else // most other browsers, also works in IE9
{
document.getElementById('proprty_price').addEventListener('keyup', GetTotal, false);
document.getElementById('proprty_extra_price').addEventListener('keyup', GetTotal, false);
}
}

function GetTotal()
{
var total = parseInt(document.getElementById('proprty_price').value) + parseInt(document.getElementById('proprty_extra_price').value);

document.getElementById('proprty_total_price_label').innerHTML = total;
}
The "parseInt" may not be needed but If I recall correctly the values of the input field will be a handled as strings so they need to be converted to integers to perform the addition.

I don't normally type out the whole code but I hope it helps.

Yes it works! But somehow it causes problems with my map on the same page :S Maybe because it also uses javascript?

this is the code of the map in the same page:
[CODE]
div class="form_row clearfix">
<?php require_once (TEMPLATEPATH . '/library/map/location_add_map.php');?>

[/CODE?

and the external file of the map:
Code:
<?php /*?><?php */?>

<input type="button" class="btn_input_normal btn_spacer" value="<?php _e('Set Address on Map');?>" onclick="findAddress(get_address());" />

Do you maybe know whats causes the problem?

Thank you so much for your help,
Engin
