Hey guys I made two mock ups in fireworks today! I wanted to know how they look for one and which do you guys prefer for making mockups. Fireworks or Photoshop?

Camera image is ok and could be improved upon. The font for the logo could be better as well. The blue seems kind of dark. When I think of photography sites, I think of something on the brighter side. I could see dropping some of the colors. You got like 6-8 of them.
I like this better. The font in the middle needs to be smoothed out. The font family reminds me of pirates, and I don't think that's what you are aiming for. I don't know if the font in the bottom three sections is comic sans or not, but when I see it I instantly think of a newbie designer. I don't think you can dress it up and make it look good either. The only place I could see using it would be for a website aimed at kids.
I changed that bottom font already on the second one. I was messing around with different ones and just threw it in as a filler at first. After going back last night I changed it to my favorite font Georgia. Only time I use comic sans ever is for the font of my IDE because looking at times new roman programming all the time hurts my eyes.

Your design looks great but I think you can still improve on your choice of colors. With regards to your question, Fireworks works best for your mentioned purpose. Its hybrid and handle large data better than Photoshop.
