I heard many times that I can get backlinks from not good websites or directories which will give me a negative points.
So my question is: how I'll know or how can I check which website is good and which is bad for my backlinks.
Check the PR of the page, check that is related to your topic, regularly a page with a PR bigger than zero is good.
In other hand pages about porn, gambling or make money, are the worst avoid those as much as possible.
Always use those website which have higher pr and quality content on their website.Always choose those websites for link exchange which are getting higher traffic per day.
1. Check if a back-link source is somehow related to your site
2. Check if it has good traffic/high PageRank
3. Check if it's not violating laws/inner rules of some SE
4. Enjoy!
When you are about to build the backlinks from a web page also check out how many OBLs are there on that page along with the PR and Alexa traffic or the site. The more the OBLs the less the chances of having any benefit of these.
