Might want to add auto to the margin to help center the site.
I was looking around to see the difference for the search field but not seeing anything offhand. The CSS seems like it's doing a decent job of being cross browser friendly. I don't know what "-khtml-border-radius" is and neither did Google. You should make that field as tall as the All Category drop box so they match up. It might indirectly solve the search box issue as well.
