search results not showing in IE

okay so all code is done and happy. and all works fine with all exept for Opera and IE

Firefox and Safari has this URL after clicking search
http://tempcrittendennewscom.adhost-...oose+Property+Type&submit=search&search=1

IE and Opera have this URL after clicking search
http://tempcrittendennewscom.adhost-...oose+Property+Type&submit=search

as you see in red the one that works is providing the extra on the URL &search=1 why might this be happening with IE and Opera?

don't hesitate to ask for anything to help solve this issue.

really need to find out why IE and opera are not adding the &search=1 at the end of the url
