Hi all,
event.srcElement.id is not working in my application i dont know why anyone please assist me to do that.

what browser are you running it in (window.event.srcElement.id is IE specific)

evt.target.id works in other browsers (i.e. W3 compliant browsers)

I used the following code in a drag and drop application:

if(!evt){
evt=window.event;
}
var objectID=(evt.target)?evt.target.id : ((evt.srcElement)?evt.srcElement.id:null);
