I re-size contents of a html page, contents are DIVs for left, top, right, bottom and center parts.

IE flashes when page reloads because of movement of those DIVs - firefox is fine.

Is there any methods to avoid this kind of flash on page?

C++ has functions of stop-drawing at beginning then start-drawing after resizing is ready.
I wonder if javascript or html code can do similar things?

Sample code is specially appreciated.
