    Question marquee problem

    I use this code to make marquee

    PHP Code:
    <marquee direction="right" onmouseover="this.stop()" onmouseout="this.start()" scrolldelay="5" scrollamount="1" style="margin-bottom:10px;">
                        <?php foreach($new_book as $item): ?>
                        <a href="<?=base_url()?>site/BookDetails/<?=$item->id?>" style="color:Black;"><?=$item->name?> (<?=$this->lang->line('auther')?> <?=$item->auther?>)</a>&nbsp;&nbsp; --- &nbsp;&nbsp;
                        <?php endforeach; ?>
                    </marquee>
    where $new_book contain 10 results but only 5 results views in the marquee!

    How can I show all 10 results?

    Hi there,

    It seems the PHP array only has 5 items if that is what is displaying?

    What does the actual HTML output of the page look like? Go to the web page and right click and view source.

    Is it displaying more than 5 items in the rendered HTML? if so its the javascript, if not, its the PHP array.

    Post up the HTML and I'll take a look for you.

    The second thing it might be that I have come accross in the past is the articles in the marquee are wrapping round onto a second line that isn't shown, so you end up with 5 articles on the first line, and 5 on the second, just you cannot see the second line at all as the overflow is generally hidden.

    Many thanks

    Hi Mohammed,

    I think it must be a CSS bug. do you have something like firebug installed ( in firefox ) his allows you to see the css positions of each of the items.

    Hopefully that will help
