Where do I download notepad++ and is it a easy webbuilder to use

Hi, if anyone can help me with the above thanks. Im using the normal notepad at the moment, Just want to know if it will be better to use notepad++ and does it have more features.

It's not hard to be better than notepad! It's difficult to imagine anything worse!

But seriously, I use Crimson Editor v3.60 and I'm very happy with that. The first thing you may need to do is change the default font to something more pleasing.

Note: There is a later version of Crimson Editor available, but I found it buggy when I tested it on different versions of MS Windows. So I've stuck with v3.60 which seems solid.

I use the CoffeeCup HTML editor (free version) myself and I think it is fantastic. It has a full set of HTML5 and CSS3 tags and has good code highlighting. Even works pretty well with PHP. can throw some errors if you try editing javascript files that have been created by another third party program, but if you're writing your own js then its fine.

And Notepad ++ is right choice for your work. After in training in this you should work on Adobe Dreamweaver cs5. It is best for development and designing with suggestion on every step.
