hello,
i have an email signature that i am working on.
it is built with html, but when i copy and paste it into outlook and drag your mouse over the table, you can drag the table. I would like to make the table not draggable. So, what can i enter into the html code to make the table not draggable when i have it as an email signature?
If anyone could help me out, that would be great! Thanks.
my code is below
Have you tried using Outlook's Signature Utility? Putting code into a regular email is not the way to make a signature. Might even look at using WiseStamp.
I am using Outlook's Signature Utility. What I am doing with the code is creating it in dreamweaver, then viewing the code in a browser, then copy the code from the browser, then pasting it into outlook. I guess it still grabs the code? I even tried using a <hr> horizonal rule to see if that would work, but nope, you can still expand it...
update:
ok, i tried to create a single image file with "Hotspots" that i created from Adobe Fireworks, and still it doesn't work, will it work this way or is there no way to have hotspots in an image to put into email?
I copied and pasted the code from the browser into outlook email signature and still could drag parts of it. When I added the <hr>, I could still drag that as well. Is there something that I could add to the code to make it not draggable?
I tried using hotspots in Fireworks, exported that out, then copied and pasted the code and didn't work, then I was researching and saw some articles saying that hotspots wouldn't work in some email programs. Currently I'm using Outlook 2010 for my email. How can I PM my address?
You can use the PM by clicking on my UserName and selecting that option. Haven't tried making an image map yet, but I don't have Outlook to test it. There was no draggable content using Windows Mail.

ok, thank you very much for the information & links. :
question
how can i change the alt information in my email signature?
in the code of my email signature, i changed the alt tag to say alt="Maxxis" and when you view or hover over the image in Outlook, it shows the image path instead, why? and how can i just get it the alt tag to say "Maxxis" instead of the path of the image?
The image is attached.
Thanks
I've tried adding the title="Maxxis". Also, I've tried deleting the alt and just having the title in there, once I save it then copy and paste from the browser into Outlook 2010, the tooltip doesn't show what my title is, it still shows the actual link like whats in my previews reply. Does it have something to do with Outlook 2010? Does Outlook 2010 not allow tooltips or the title tags? Does it not allow it to show up?
Thanks
