Looking for a programming language to use for my new project

    Hi Guys,

i have a concept for a webpage and need help with the best programming language. I have created a few PHP - Projects with some javascript in the past. Most of the time i'm programming offline.

    What i need:
A programming language, that can update parts of a webpage, not the complete webpage.
A programming language, where i can create interactive graphics (like bar charts, where the user can change the parameters without reloading)
A good IDE with strong debugging tools (worked without any for my php projects -.-)
A big community, where i can find tutorials and help
It has to run on a linux webserver.

Any suggestions? I would like to learn C# or VB.net but i dont know if these programming languages have the possibilities i need.

Thanks for your help and sorry for my bad english

    Greetings from Germany
