i have registered domain name on free web hosting site **********.com and i m not able to develop website as i mam getting the message
" Your domain is not yet pointing to our servers, so services such as FTP, Website Builder or File Manager may not work. You need to update nameservers to ns01.**********.com, ns02.**********.com for your domain. This warning will be removed once your domain will start resolving to our servers (24-48 hours after the nameserver update). How to update the nameservers? "
i also have tried many times to update nameserver and i was asked to go to registrar of hosting domain where i change my setting but i registered on www.********** .com but there i could not fine any option of changing my dns setting plz suggest me how to it step by step
In order for a website to be working online, it must have a full set of DNS records. However, these records are unique for the server the website is located on. If you decide to move your website from one server to another, you will also have to update your DNS records
Contact your Domain Name Registrar.... that's what they do, NOT the Web host... unless you have a package deal where one host does both.
The Web hosting comany will give you the name of the nameservers associated with your hosting account... then you take those names and edit them on your Domain Name Registrar site.
