I have webhosting but it is windows based so the php code generally availbe doesnt work, does anyone know of some good code for use on a website.

I only need a basic contact form.

Check what scripting language your hosting program includes. If none, then you can use an external service, there should be plenty. Just google around.

You might check out ASP as Windows uses that instead of PHP (very similar to ASP). There are tutorials on the web (I don't know ASP) such as this one, http://www.tizag.com/aspTutorial/aspFormsEmail.php
