Anchor link actions?

I am trying to make the top hat links interact with the js accordion in the content section. For example, when the user clicks on About, I want the "Chirp. Would you like to know about me?" section of the accordion to open up.

I am not particularly good with js, I only know enough to be able to plugin other people's js into my site. So, if this requires manipulation of the js, please be as detailed and specific as possible.
