Hello folks!

I need your advice :-)

I'm looking for a very very profound and up to date handbook for web development. I'm kind of a skilled desktop and mobile apps programmer and i also have some knowledge of basic web development (e.g. HTML, CSS). Therefore i don't need a book for a very beginner. I'm rather interested in discussions about when to use which languages/frameworks, how to build web-shops, secure payment, interfaces to other websites, database connections etc.

I'm looking forward to every help you can offer :-)
