    Are Nofollow Links good?

Many off-page seo techniques provide nofollow back-links to our website. I want to know weather these nofollow links are beneficial for our website's ranking or not.

nofollow tag means google will ignore the link... so if it's a BAD site linking to you.. nofollow is good (bad badlinks = bad ranking) if its a high PR link with relative info that has a nofollow link = that hurts you

No-follow links are just as good as "do-follow" links. They WILL help your ranking (consider that a link from wikipedia is excellent and sought-after even though they are no-follow). All a no-follow link does is stop authority and page rank FROM the linking page from transferring to your page. To increase your site's authority & page rank, you will need to get some do-follow links. But ALL links are counted as votes, and carry the same weight, they just don't pass what is known as "link juice".

no follow tag actually tells google not to consider the link a popularity....
and no follow links are important...and it is also proven by SEO experts that no follow links for high authority pages can help your site to improve SERP....
do personally i don't bother dofollow or nofollow as long as the site is a good one....

Do follow and no follow both are good for a site. In seo no-follow links also help in SERP or keyword ranking and it also help to site PR. So, to avoid no-follow link is bad idea.

i would say the same, no follow is almost as good as do-follow, it's better to get a mixture of 20% no-follow and 80% do-follow to make Google believe you get link naturally.

It is a waste of time by discussing about do follow and no follow both have their own advantages. If we use or get too much of do follow then search engine gets suspicious about it and may lower down our site's ranking so no follow link is also required to keep a balance.

Though Google have the majority of the market, it's not the only thing in the world. I myself uses Google as 2nd to Yahoo as my search engine.

its not like that nofollow links are bad for your website. if you have nofollow links for your website then your website visibility will be more. so, don't totally avoid no follow link

Google like the mixture of nofolow and dofollow links. So if you have some nofollow links from high PR sites then it will b fine.
