How to set the Browser mode using jquery, Javascript or C# in Internet Exporer.

Please note: <meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=5, IE=8, IE=9, IE=10" >

The above line helps to set document mode compatibility in IE but i want to set browser mode and not manually.
