Hi, I am new to the forums so apologies if this is in the wrong place.
I have recently discovered the features of graph databases, which is what I need to build an application.
I want to setup a graph database, as this solves the problem of interconnecting users within my application. However, although I know the basics of how a graph database works, such as nodes and connections etc, I do not know how to set one up.
At the moment, I am renting servers from iPage, so it seems that using this service I can only use relational databases.
Does anyone have any experience with setting up graph databases?
By the way, I am a new developer who will be tackling this project on my own, so funding is an issue - just in case anyone mentions hiring/renting expensive services.
Thanks in advance and I look forward to using this forum more!
Yeah I'm not sure either if this is the right place to post this as gdb's are probably classified under NOSQL databases. What is the system you'll be working it on? Anyways try to read on MongoDB. I have no problems setting it up just follow their docs. That may give you a starting point
