in dire need of help with my code, please

Hello I am new to this forum, ive been on others but to no avail, i need help with editing/fixing my code, i am very new at coding and not too sure how to fix it.
can someone help? it seems to be having cross browser problems, i ran it through validator, but finding it hard to fix it....mostly cause of my limited knowledge

Wow, longest post ever, and you still failed to tell us what the problem is, beside the fact that you don't know why its not working. How about a little info on what is happening, like it's not working in IE, and maybe even WHAT isn't working.

thought i put that up
the site works on firefox well, but on chrome (and most browsers) it is not centered
on IE it is really messed up
im pretty sure its not working either cause of the errors or cause of the doctype

Unfortunately, the problem likely comes from the external stylesheet, which you didn't post. It's usually best if you could post a link to the live page so people can see it online with all of the resources involved. Put it up as a test page somewhere on the site and link to it with a URL shortener if you're worried about publicizing it.

Some punctuation in your messages would help us decipher what you're trying to ask, as well.

Table layouts went out in the late 1990s. If you just have to use tables, be sure you know how to use the table tags and use CSS with them.

Incorrect document tags for starters. IE goes into Quirks Mode and will show a bad site in most cases. Centering the pages is not going to work well for you with the excessive absolute positioning rules.
