Image Slide Show

Don't shoot, I totally don't know much about website development.

I'm having a new site built now, and I want feedback on a few things.

What is a simple decent way to have a slide presentation on your main page that goes through a slide show of 5 or 6 photos?

Show an image, wait a few seconds, and transition to the next image, wait a few seconds, and so on....

I usually use the JQuery Cycle plugin for slideshows. It has lots of options, and is relatively easy to set up.
