    Unhappy how to get a variable from jsp and pass it to controller

    Hi,
    I have the following JSP code snippet:

    Code:
       <tr class="gRow"
    	_paidId="<c:write name="pay" property="paid" />">
    Now I need to pass the variable _paidId that has been initialized in JSP to a method in a controller. I dont want to use
    request.setAttribute()
    is there any other way? I am using spring mvc

    u can use a hidden field and put the value in that and when you submit the form back to ur jsp, value will be in your jsp.
    Or you can create a url and attach a parameter (name=value) that way you can pass the value to ur jsp as well...
    Cheers
