Need fresh set of eyes for CSS problem

I think I have been working too long on this stuff, and I need a fresh set of eyes because a seemingly simple issue is driving me crazy.

on the logo, and social networking section, specifically. I am attempting to recreate the layout of that area on this site: http://demo.s5themes.com/boldy/
