Safe font list for Mac and Windows

Here is the list of fonts I searched to use for making my websites. These fonts can be running safely to show in every machine using both OS X and Windows. Use it for your sake.

Ps. These are the default fonts installed with pure Windows XP and OS X 10.5, or later. The fonts bundled with other programs aren't included.

    Arial Black
    Arial
    Comic Sans MS
    Courier New
    Georgia
    Impact
    Microsoft Sans Serif
    Symbol
    Tahoma
    Times New Roman
    Trebuchet MS
    Verdana
    Webdings
    Wingdings

    @font-face

Have you heard of @font-face? You can now import fonts from files located on your server or another server online through CSS. No need to stay with a web safe list these days.

@face-font comes with css3 which is not a standard until today and this command can't be running in IE8 or below. And as I mentioned above "These are the default fonts installed with pure Windows XP...", I think nowadays it has a lot of people still using Win XP and IE8. The the @face-font will not work with them.

I already mentioned that I want to tell the fonts that work for almost machines. Please understand
