    A Third for FileZilla

FileZilla is the best. It also available as portable version for use from a flash drive via portableapps.com

Are you using FTP or SFTP to connect (and does the target server care)?
Are you using the right port number? (usually 22 for SFTP)
Are you using the right user name and password for the target server?

You may need to read through https://wiki.filezilla-project.org/N...leZilla_Client to make sure everything is configured on your machine to allow Filezilla to do its thing. (I am not an expert on that stuff, so I don't even know which parts of that are the most likely issue.)
