    Interfering scripts

    Hi all,

    I haven't had much to do with code since my computing science class in 2003. Needless to say, I'm pretty clueless.

    I'm trying to incorporate a drop-down menu and a slider/accordion script and they're interfering with each other. I've done some searching and I know other people have had the same issue but I don't know enough to be able to apply their solutions to my problem.

    This is what I have. How do I fix it?

    <link href="http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Oswald:400,700" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    <link href="default.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" />
    <script type="text/javascript" src="jquery-1.7.1.min.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="jquery.dropotron-1.0.js"></script>
    <script type="text/javascript" src="init.js"></script>

    <link rel="stylesheet" href="css/slidorion.css" />
    <script src="https://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.7.1/jquery.min.js"></script>
    <script src="js/jquery.easing.js"></script>
    <script src="js/jquery.slidorion.min.js"></script>

    you're loading jQuery twice there. Remove the second one.
