Rename domain to include Keywords
My client is considering renaming his website's domain name to include a keyword. has anyone here ever tried that?
here's an example:
www.MyNameHorseBreeders.com instead of www.MyName.com
The former contains the keywords Horse Breeders whereas the latter is the name only. This seems like a good idea, no?
when entering the term 'horse breeders' into Google, many of the websites that come up first have that term in the domain name.
Yes, according to the SEO basic concepts, that is very advisable. It will give him more chances as his domain grows form that change. But I advise he still uses the other domain as this one picks up. Both can point to his files. You can do some more readin on this website about domain names and how they influence SEO.

yes according to SEO this is really helpful. That will help you as domain grows.
So i will give you suggestion please don't change your domain name.
There is no denying the fact that keywords in the domain used to be a very powerful way to be the first in Google SERPs for those keywords.
thanks all for the replies, appreciate it
