Advice ! Javascript or Action Script? I need an image slider....

Hello!

I want to add an image slider within my ' Home Page ', and I was wondering if I should use JavaScript or ActionScript?

I have Adobe Master Suite CS5 and Flash, but don't know if I should use it for an image slider, or just use JavaScript. I am trying to decide which to use. Any Advice?

Also, anyone know where I can find tutorials on JavaScript Sliders?
