    How to code this website

    Hey guys,

I am designing another external web portfolio for my new freelancing company and I am needing a little help on how to actually code it. Here is a picture of it:

So I have some gradients, obviously, and I'm not sure how to do that. Also, how can I do the unordered list in two columns as I have under "What I do"? Another thing is that the quote bar is actually a javascript of random quotes. I have the javascript code but I am not sure if I can use that.

Can someone help me with the code? What images do I need? How can I keep the gradients?

Have mercy Nate, I think you need to know how to build the website if you're creating a freelancing portfolio!

You'll want to crop your gradients out and use them as background images.

It sounds like you need a couple lessons. I'd head over to w3schools and go through their HTML and CSS course:

If you want help on the forum, you're going to have to show us what you've got so far and we can help you from there. Good luck!
I'm always up for networking with fellow web professionals. Connect with me on LinkedIn if you like!

Well, I've done one before and it turned out fine. However, the one I did was fairly simple compared to this one. I have learned HTML/CSS and know the basics of it. I'm in the works and taking a web development class at votech school.
