Starting from participating in social book marking and networking sites is the good practice to get visible in the major communities and in this sense you can get intersections with your product familiar communities. Some sort of hard work on keywords can also increase your desired and targeted audience. Email marketing and sms marketing is also a good marketing strategy to increase traffic.

To increase the traffic of a website you have to use the social media because this is only media which holds huge amount of traffic per day in these days. So after doing all Off-page activities you can move towards the social media optimization because all Off-page activities also responsible for traffic. Create profile on the social networking website like Facebook, Twitter, Stumbleupon etc. and update your profile on regular basis with unique and quality content to attract the visitors on your website.
