    Help Please Radial button to update which DIV is shown

    I changed some of the values since i am posting this here but this is what i am working with.

    Every time i run this code it seems to go to the Else never the proper IF.

    I have tried If, Else IF, Else same results.

    I want the user to select a radial that will in turn limit their options by showing/ hiding the proper combobox.

    Thanks in advance!

    <script type="text/javascript">
    function toggle(s)
    {
    if (s=='FT')

    document.getElementById('FT').style.display='block';

    Hi bud

    Your basic syntax is wrong, you should check out the many and various tutorials on if else conditional statements

    Code:
             if(condition){
     This will run if condition is true
                              }
            else if(some other condition){
      This will run if some other condition is true
                                                     }
            else{
        This will run if the other “if” and “else if” evaluate to false
                  }

    Thanks for the feed back.I had originally i tried this(see below code). Unfortunately i have the same outcome the code always seems to run the else portion of the code and never the if.

    Code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    function toggle(s)
    {
    if (s=='FT')
    {
    document.getElementById('FT').style.display='block';
    document.getElementById('FR').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('DT').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('DR').style.display='none';
    }
    else if (s=='FR')
    {
    document.getElementById('FT').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('FR').style.display='block';
    document.getElementById('DT').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('DR').style.display='none';
    }
    else if (s=='DT')
    {
    document.getElementById('FT').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('FR').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('DT').style.display='block';
    document.getElementById('DR').style.display='none';
    }
    else (s=='DR')
    {
    document.getElementById('FT').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('FR').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('DT').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('DR').style.display='block';
    }
    }
    </script>

    Here is a working version of your code, you should get the idea, I have stripped out most of the formatting to simplify there were several errors in there like missing inverted comas and the like which was where I think your problem was

    Code:
    <html>
      <head>
        <script type="text/javascript">
    function toggle(s){
    if (s=='FT')
    {
    document.getElementById('FT').style.display='block';
    document.getElementById('FR').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('DT').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('DR').style.display='none';
    }
    else if (s=='FR')
    {
    document.getElementById('FT').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('FR').style.display='block';
    document.getElementById('DT').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('DR').style.display='none';
    }
    else if (s=='DT')
    {
    document.getElementById('FT').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('FR').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('DT').style.display='block';
    document.getElementById('DR').style.display='none';
    }
    else if(s=='DR')
    {
    document.getElementById('FT').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('FR').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('DT').style.display='none';
    document.getElementById('DR').style.display='block';
    }
    }
        </script>
         <title></title>
      </head>
      <body>
        <div align="center" id="DT" style="display: none;">
         <label>Manager's Name
           <select name="DT">
             <option value="DT">bill</option>
           </select>
         </label>
        </div>
        <div align="center" id="DR" style="display: none;">
          <label>Manager's Name
            <select name="DR">
              <option value="DR">fred</option>
            </select>
          </label>
        </div>
        <div align="center" id="FT" style="display: none;">
          <label>Manager's Name
            <select name="FT">
              <option value="FT">bob</option>
            </select>
          </label>
        </div>
        <div align="center" id="FR" style="display: none;">
          <label>Manager's Name
            <select name="FR">
              <option value=DT>john</option>
            </select>
          </label>
        </div>
        <div align="center" id="something1">
          <label>
            <input name="radiobutton" id="something1" type="radio" value="something1" onclick="toggle('DR');"/>
          something1</label>
        </div>
        <div align="center" id="something2">
          <label>
            <input name="radiobutton" id="something2" type="radio" value="something2" onclick="toggle('FR');"/>
          something2</label>
        </div>
        <div align="center" id="something3">
          <label>
            <input name="radiobutton" id="something3" type="radio" value="something3" onclick="toggle('FT');"/>
          something3</label>
        </div>
        <div align="center" id="something4">
          <label>
            <input name="radiobutton" id="something4" type="radio" value="something4" onclick="toggle('DT');"/>
          something4</label>
        </div>
      </body>
    </html>
    One other thing the id attribute should be unique
