Body text shifts in mobile

There is a large right margin inserted into the body when viewed in mobile, the header/footer images are fine.

This is only a personal website so its not a disaster if I can't fix it but I'm curious if there is a simple solution. The body css wrapper is simply: margin:0 auto; text-align:left; width:850px;

Build a responsive website.... you can find a number of tutorials online for the same. A responsive website is one that will adjust itself according to the screen size.
