    resolved [RESOLVED] sort numbers

    My method is not working. How to sort 2d Array, sorting by first elements?

    PHP Code:
    <SCRIPT type="text/javascript">
    var
    d=[[-5.1667,1],[7.8889,2],[-6.7500,3],[-4.8750,4],[-3.1667,5],[-5.8571,6],[-4.2308,7],[5.5000,8],[-3.0000,9],[-0.7500,10],[-9.0000,11],[-7.8571,12],[-8.1667,13],[-13.7500,14],[-4.8571,15],[1.8333,16],[-4.0000,17],[-6.7500,18],[7.8333,19],[1.8333,20],[-2.8571,21],[-2.1667,22],[0.1429,23],[5.4167,24],[-3.1667,25],[8.8333,26],[-8.1667,27],[-6.8750,28],[-12.3333,29],[-2.8571,30],[1.1250,31],[-5.8750,32],[4.1250,33],[9.0000,34],[-1.8750,35],[13.0000,36],[-4.8571,37],[-6.8750,38],[5.4167,39],[-3.3333,40],[-5.8750,41],[-1.1111,42],[-11.7500,43],[-9.0000,44],[1.1429,45],[-4.8571,46],[9.1250,47],[-6.8750,48]]

    d.sort(function(a,b){return parseInt(b) - parseInt(a)});

    document.write(d.join('<br>'))

    </SCRIPT>
    (especially evident in Opera browser)

    Relax

    Array.sort(function(a,b){return a[0] - b[0]});

    Edit: removing my post... I didn't see that the same person made both previous posts. xD

    At least I can point out that there are no real multidimensional arrays in JavaScript - only arrays within arrays. In case someone reading this doesn't know. :)
