    Does WebP images are really Google Ranking Friendly??

    Can any one knows that WebP formatted images are really Google Friendly ? i m wondering for this answer

    I consider it more important that WebP is not yet supported by all current major browsers, and has no fallback for legacy browsers. There are often problems with technological change, but inclusiveness is fundamental to the web. I think it is premature to use the format on live sites at the moment, and it could well be 3 to 5 years before that situation changes.

    okay, Thank you for your View . In a very Short period of time images can be in WebP formats.
