    Please Help. Im out of school and willing to learn about web development. Please need some tips/advices. I have few knowledge about programming. Thanks in advance

    You will learn far more, faster and as a reference for years to come, with Elizabeth Castro's book "HTML5 & CSS3 Visual QuickStart Guide (7th Edition)"

    Have this and in no time at all, you'll be competent.

    The book prescribed by WebJoel to you above is one of the best books. And from my point of view you need to join a professional institute for designing and development of your interest or a company that can provide your training.

    Better way to learn from W3School.

    It include all the programming language with example.

    I have too learn from that website.
